>>>In my investment experience of more than 45 years, what usually happens when a stock sells well below where it should rightly sell on the basis of its fundamentals, it usually gets acquired.<<<< Or we find out later that the stock is fairly priced, in view of certain circumstances. We can guess all day about why this stock is selling where it is, and we might never come up with the right answer. Somewhere, something is known that is keeping buyers away from SNDK for now. Maybe it's the looming threat of competition from much lower priced media, such as DataPlay (which got a LOT of press attention at CES and won a Best in Show award). Maybe it's an internal management problem, etc., etc. I think we should be looking at the competition and what impact it might be having. The market discounts the future, not the past, so maybe 6-9 mos. down the road, the demand for expensive FM cards won't be as great if there's a $10-15 alternative storage device.
