LiPoly,

I didn't realize Delkin was into bundling.
But clearly the future is not in 8 MB cards.

I wonder if Eli and team realize this and maybe sacrificied
some OEM sales? I guess it is possible. Clearly it would
only be a partial explanation for the shortfall.

Have to imagine that some of the MMC bundles with upto 64MB of
flash (like that with I-Jam and Compaq) are more attractive.

Funny that nobody involved in the c.c. bothered to ask about
the nature of the OEM contracts that were lost. I guess most
were probably too shell-shocked to inquire. Binx theory is still
alive and well. It was a major telecom that buys flash disks.

As for myself the lack of new CompactFlash assembly licensees
is disturbing. Eli mentioned possible MMC/SDMC licenses in the future
also based on '987. Why haven't these materialized yet? Precious
little information has been made available about this even
after the conclusion of the Lexar litigation.

Why do they insist on leaving us in the dark?

That one-time Lexar payment just isn't going to cut the
mustard in anyone's eyes. Where is the '987 leverage?
