ild, Retail brokers basically advise folks what to do with their money. No, it is not JT Marlin, nor am I hooking up with Marc Rich now that Clinton has pardoned him. I have a 2d cousin whose name is Mark Rich, so I hope he doesn't spend his life confused with that commodity crook.

I haven't stopped trading my own account yet and may continue to do so until I am through the licensing process. After that, I doubt that I can take the risk of being accused of front-running clients, especially in some of the areas where I have expertise: closed end funds, options, very small tech and drug cos. I don't think it is possible for me to front run anyone in bond options, as they trade too much for my account or those of customers to have any impact on prices. But I could definitely see a problem with some of these options that trade 5 contracts a day when they're busy. <g>
