Doug, your link is for subscribers so I am not sure what the article is all about, not to mention that TheStreet is a contrarian indicator. They were all excited about GLW, CSCO, PALM, SUNW, RMBS and others at about double or more of present prices. Wen their stock went to the toiled they blamed conspirators etc. I agree with you about "The bubble and debacle are extremely powerful planned instruments for the transfer of hard earned savings from the dumb to the more astute of the species." yes the last bubble was initiated and propelled by GS MER and MSDW about October 1999 they gathered several of their closer clients and plainly brought them " in" to running the bubble the issue started to be quite know by January February and to my surprise more institution stepped in. but on the same same token I take that the Soros team were quite smart whealthy and big and they still managed to loose 1/3 of their assets as has Tiger Funds.
