NEW YORK (Reuters) - Telephone and cable television giant AT&T Corp. on Monday posted a fourth-quarter loss of $1.7 billion due to falling prices in the long-distance telephone market and one-time charges, and said profit margins in its consumer and business units would fall in 2001.

Maybe they should reconsider. Nah, let um suffer. Who cares.
