Do I understand that correctly?
I don't think I'll ever understand it.

I saw Dan Burton on TV last night. He is such an idiot. He was fuming over some pardons Clinton did, he's holding hearings. Larry King, never the strong questioner, asked him if there was anything he could accomplish or change by doing so. He couldn't figure out anything. Poor fool, he doesn't have a life when Clinton's out of town.

I cannot think of any religion that does not discriminate against women in one
way or another.

The other problem with funding faith-based religions is that, at some point in time,
the Christian right that Mr. Bush and Mr. Ashcroft represent will force people to make
a distinction between those Christian religions and non-Christian which they may call
cults.

Mr. Bush intends to turn this country into a Christian country that represents his own views.
Of course, he cannot do that over night so he has to include other religions, but once his
Christian right is well established then they will begin to exclude other groups. I'd bet on it!

Once you have government funding religious faiths. Look out! Next, they'll move into other
areas like federal funding for libraries or federal funding for certain doctors who promote God.
