The "3" is the number of months in a quarter. Let's take one more look at this.

1.5 million wireless subscribers at the end of the quarter, so, let's use an average number of subscribers during the course of the quarter of 1.2 million.

Wireless Revenue for the quarter = $8 million

Divide by 3 to get Wireless Revenue Per Month = $2.67 million

Divide that by the number of subscribers and you end up with $2.22 per subscriber per month.

Higher than their guidance of $1 - $2 per subscriber per month
