Mike, just give me a hint about the site or sites where you might have seen the dead lift box. I'll surf them myself.

With the trap bar, I've got my home gym just about where I want it. I've "collected" close to 1900 lbs. in plates --half olympic, half standard (most people of my ethnic persuasion collect wood-<g>). That's not including bars and collars. I've also got a power cage, a 45 degree hip sled, a lat/back machine, and 2 benches. Plus a universal which my wife uses (I only use it for warm-up leg extensions), a stationary bike (and 2 road bikes), a treadmill, a ConceptII rowing machine, and a stereo with the complete Led Zepellin CDs. The only thing I want to add are good, free-standing dip bars. The ones I've got are attached to one of the benches, but don't "fit me" well. Which is kind of how I found the trap bar. The guy told me he had a free standing dip bar, but it turned out to be the kind you attach to the wall. But there, sitting in the corner, was the trap bar. $85. Couldn't pass it up. I keep meaning to get back into rowing on the water, but I don't think that's going to happen. The best place to do that is Princeton, but it's a *little too far* to go 2 or 3 times a week (although OK for the odd football game). The only real alternative is Red Bank, but that river is a power boat zoo.

I've been hanging out here on SI for over 4 years and "Ask MB" has always been here. I'll miss the way things were, but if the topic is now lifting and horses, I can live with that<g>. Bring it on, Wayne.
