They say they do yes, the recent report was very impressive. So as long as they sell per unit with no risk and no worry to the lousy product performance and very low customer retention, they're fine. I know this is similar to AOL's bus model, but at least their products work.

This stuff will work eventually imo, if enough $$ is spent on more infrastructure and ongoing r&d. Both need a lot more time and $$ though. And by then it will take a heck of a lot of effort to woo back customers who are now having the bad eperiience with the current product.
