Art - Yes, of course one has to evaluate the alternatives. We don't even know for sure that some will work at all in the applications now using high density FM. But sometimes just the percieved threat from a competitor coming on line is enough to change people's thinking. For example, let's say I want to buy a flat panel monitor, but they're too expensive right now. If I heard in the news that 6-8 mos. from now a new monitor would cost 50% less because a company has developed a technology that makes flat panels for much less, I'd wait. I wonder how many OEMs at CES saw the DataPlay demo (after hearing about it months ago), and have decided to go with that technology. From what I hear (from people who were there), the DP booth was one of the most crowded at CES, and people were there long after other booths had cleared out. (DataPlay is a private company - I have no investment in it.) Betty
