This link I posted earlier relates to one company and a failed shareholder resolution on that subject. (Failed, but with a strong (71 million shareholders in favor of no slave labor on Lucent products) vote.)

There is deniability built in, of course. As Karen points out, how often will you see a label reading "Torture Togs: Made by freezing, starving slaves."

newstrolls.com

The heading is:

STOCKOWNERS OF LUCENT CORPORATION CAST STRONG VOTE TO CREATE
ANTI-SLAVE LABOR POLICY FOR CHINA OPERATIONS; BOARD SAYS NO

This link contains the observation that slave labor also "presents unfair competition to free labor in
China and elsewhere, including the United States. "

Nothing's perfect.
