I think today's news about the CommWorks is very interesting. Notice that the CommWorks is already registered as a coporation under 3com. It seems to be quite obvious that coms is going to spin this division off as a seperate company.

Potentially this division can have a revenue base of 1 billions $. The latest qtr saw the revenue dropped quite a bit to 95 millions from 167 millions (last qtr). I think this is a company in a very high growth area - just that it's now restrainted by the Capex slowdown. With the 3G buildout coming, this division of coms should do very well.

I can see the share price of coms double from here in a very short time. coms is selling at $3 per share now minus the cash value ! I would venture to say that only the CommWorks Corp is worth $11 + 3 for coms and $8 for cash = $22.

I am going to buy more coms if the market pulls back a bit.

Look at this 3G page from coms:
3com.com
