I did answer your question: "do we have a deal". I said "absolutely!!!! No hesitation". That covered all of them.

I believe that our defense should be used for just that, "defense". Not aggression. It is one of the few valid things that I believe a government should be used for.

You stated:
Do pacifists get to stipulate that their taxes won't go for warmaking?
I do not believe that the U.S. should be in the business of warmaking at all. Defense only.

Medical research on animals...if it is going to be done, it should be done by private organizations...

Why the hell should the government be involved in cattle subsidies? or tobacco subsidies? Cut em off!!!

This is the United States, why are would we be giving money to the Palastine Authority or Isreal? cut em off, let individuals give to these interests if they want to, it is no business of the U.S. Government.

Divorce has two facets to it: One is the legal partnership as defined by the state (not the Federal Government) and the other is religious. If the religious groups agree to administering of the legal partnership, then they get the other end of the stick which is the dissolution of the legal partnership. The government should have no involvement whatsoever in the religious aspects...IMO

As far as tax exempt status for churches, hell, I want to go the other way and give YOU tax exempt status.
