John,

I hope they sell a couple million color iPAQ's this year.

I am also waiting to see the next wave of high end digital
cameras. The feature I am looking for is the movie mode that
would allow 15 to 30 second video clips with sound. Sony and
Olympus have promoted this successfully. Faced with the purchase
of both a digital camera and/or a digital video camera one could
imagine buying a single device with both features. Most digital
video cameras have low resolution still frame capability. Digital
cameras tend to have slower frame rates, less image stabilization
capability, limited acquisition times and variable sound quality.

A hybrid device would be quite portable and quite appealing.

I think it would be fascinating to acquire high quality stills
plus reasonably sized video clips on one device. And to accomplish
this a 128MB plus CompactFlash card seems ideal.

Imagine popping the card out and playing your vacation videos
on your handheld or laptop or iPAQ. Imagine e-mailing a video
clip to family as an attachment.

I hope we see some new product releases that play on this theme.

Looking for anything that will consume some of SanDisk's stagnant
inventory at this stage.
