Hi Richard,

It's interesting that SuperValu rises to your attention at this time. Here's another provocative tidbit from the same news release.

<snip>

In additional news, Telepanel is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with its debenture holders to adjust the exercise price of the warrants attached to the debenture issued June 15, 1995 to $1.50 per share and the conversion price of the debenture issued October 6, 1997 to $1.50 per share. In exchange, the debenture holders extended the maturity date of the debentures to mid 2001 and deferred interest payments until the new maturity.

<snip>

It refers to the five plus million which becomes payable this June. Given Telepanel's current cash status (i.e. nil), these folks are either going big belly up or they've got a royal flush stuffed up their butt.

All the new "executive" positions scare me more than encourage me. I find it very difficult to justify such expenditures given the total lack of "reported" progress. Also, they sure burned through last year's funding mighty fast! If something's not kosher on the real front, the arguments about what's left won't really matter.

ps Is it possible that this outfit has gone from promising the moon and delivering peanuts to reporting zilch and delivering the holy grail? I guess the good news is that the long awaited Big Day is finally within our sites and given the whirligig nature of this saga, any type of climax is sure to be a stablizing notion.

Goods OK and Bads OK but the Status Quo is just No Way !!!
