I didn't see the 2B, just took a guess that it may have topped from how its ticker tape behaved. Am at a slight disadvantage without a refined charting capability such as T's. How do you get to use T's chart??

The 2B is my favorite. When you think about the mechanics of it - a marginal new high, clears out the buy stops that people are so fond of putting out there, and then heads right back down, causing some to bail their positions - and with luck, it fuels a fast move to first support. Frequently I'll exit right there, and wait for another opportunity to re-enter a short (in this case).

Of course the reverse is also true for longs.

A good link for other readers: intelligentspeculator.com

Re the charts, the ones I post are my charts - I use a similar if not identical layout just to confuse everyone. Half by coincidence, I also have the same tools that she does. I've been using Tradestation for some time, and started using QCharts back when it was a reliable service.

Both Teresa and I have recently switched over to eSignal for data and charts - won't change the Tradestation chart look but the QCharts ones will disappear. eSignal has been a real treat, nice and stable.

The appearance of the charts is more than skin deep similarity, as I also use the same analytical process too ;) I am not ashamed, after many years of systems trading and such, I liked what I found when I discovered IntelligentSpeculator.com and slowly (and then rapidly)changed my way of looking at price and volume.

Its much simpler than most people think, and I like simple!
