You know, I really enjoy this thread, especially as it is so rowdy. I also enjoy it because we have some superb thinkers here and some incredible "info hounds". As well, the humour is terrific (Allan, note the spelling).

I would be the first to admit that there are folks who post that really get under my skin but it is plain silly to ban them. Look at the fuss about KIS' pushing of Broadcom. Two weeks later, the stock craters and his "call" is exposed for what it was,....... dumb and poorly researched. Now KIS has to live that one down, and will be reminded of it any time in the future that he gets too enthusiastic.

Anyway, I will climb down off my soap-box, as I don't want to berate Luc over this as his cardboard box is close to mine. (g)

Fleck is a good friend. He is also a superb market player and one of the few bears who survived the mania. I don't blame him for departing the daily written grind. I gave up my newsletter for the same reasons,.... too many threats, and too few sheckles produced for the massive time commitment. Besides which, we are coming into a period where more folks are going to want to put their dough with well respected bears. Fleck will have his hands full managing the incoming money.

MB is probably the brightest and broadest market mind I have ever met and I think we have all been blessed to have had access to him over the last few years. Personally, I will really miss his insights, his humour and his down-home ability to make complicated concepts clear and understandable. I also know few men who have as thick a skin as he does. "The Net" becomes a lot less enjoyable or valuable with both of these guys moving on.

Best, Earlie
