And it strikes me as a little... well... harsh. as i said... you can believe in all the deities, imaginary friends and all the rest, if that makes you safe, happy, warm and cozy, please, continue, more power to you. but if you further continue to believe that the same entity is going to solve all your problems and "provide you" with guidance in spite of proof to the contrary well... i still think that such is... er... stupid. it does NOT have to "take me" anywhere. it simply is (take me out of the picture, the fact does not change.)Yahweh is just one in a very, very long series, and all these believers since the beginning of time in one imaginary Friend or another weren't stupid. to the extent, that you think or worse, you base your actions on the belief that someone else is "guiding" you, or will solve your problems in spite of the evidence to the contrary by "osmosis" or similar... it is still dumb. and if you do a thing that is dumb for as long as you want it to do it, it continues to be dumb... perhaps even dumber, given...the evidence that proves that such belief has not provided you with the solution you pretend And I don't know what would produce paradise on earth if theism disappeared tomorrow i am not asking or looking for a paradise... each individual has his/her idea of his or her particular Nirvana... all i am saying is... there are specific problems in the world that have a source or origin... in the case discussed here, we are attempting to identify why the third world country can not get out of the mess they are in. imo the source of the problem is lack of education and overpopulation. godly beliefs, for the most part, have impaired the control of world population... and in many instance, impaired proper education. one of the prevalent ideas amongst third world populations (and probably amongst the first world too), is that: "god will provide" well.... sorry, he has not, he is not, and he will not. evidence supports me. if people continue to believe the contrary... they do so at their own peril.... sue the gods for misrepresentation and gross falsehood and negligence of truth in advertising. -gg- i do my own providing, thank you very much.Yahoolie is just a dot bomb going NUTZZZ
