O/T Decimalization

I can't believe these spreads. The largest spread I've seen on the stocks I trade is $.05. I traded some AMD today and the spread was only $.01. Decimalization is going to hurt the brokerages in the pocket book. I wonder how significant this will be come next quarter's earning reports for them. Is this a trading opportunity to short the brokers?
