Assuming fed cuts 50 BPs tomorrow, how might it compare to the two cuts he did in '82 for 50BPs each?

I heard on cnbc that was the last time such a move was made.

Say there were three children and two apples. They would be quite upset because they each wanted an apple but while there were three children there were only two apples.

So an adult comes along and gives each child a piece of paper which says Apple on it, and tells them not to be upset because now they each have an apple.

BTW - The "adult" walked away with the two apples.
