No I'm not buying FL, but I have an interest in Noranda, and I wouldn't be surprised if NOR is taking advantage of the low FL market price.

It all seems so stupid to me. The strikers are hurting no-one but themselves. And talk of the company "treating them like slaves" makes me shake my head in dismay. I would guess they are are pretty well paid slaves eh ?

Here's something else that makes me smile;

biz.yahoo.com

The headline says "Profits Down; Forecasts Missed"

In fact Falconbridge has just completed its most profitable year in its history. Return on Equity was 17%. This despite the strike. Apparently analysts made an error in their estimates of what fourth quarter results would be, and the company is blamed for that too !! Hahaha!
