Mephisto--Yeah, there's a re-revisionist view of the Civil War (thankfully), which now admits that the stuff I, at least, was taught in school was wrong, and that the cause of the Civil War really WAS a fight about slavery, not states rights on an economic system. I'd like to have a nickel every time I've heard that--but the article says that that is no longer the prevailing view, thankfully....
