Jeez after 3 months of winter I bought a nice Porterhouse steak. Wife likes to bake steaks in the oven. Shudder.

I froze that puppy, then salted it with seasoned salt and pepper. Got a real hot fire going on the grill, added wood for flames and tossed it on. Burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Been a long wait to get on the deck. Come on summer.

Yep, I was searching for a nice split pea soup recipe and I found a few recipes on that site... I used none of them but I was able to come up with my own based on some of the recipes I found on that site..... I'll post my recipe here.....<g>
