Hi Bosco....as mentioned, there are a couple of INSP boards....this one has all sorts of posts, and has become over the years, an excellent community where we can learn. We learn by *collective power*....and each of us make our own decisions. A really good thing to do is go back to post #1, and read a number of posts every day.....You will see history, and personalities, good news and bad, and many other things.

For instance, if there is something we need to know nearly instantly, SI is the right place to learn it....With as many people that post, someone of us is bound to find something of interest and post it right away.

SI is one of the most powerful mediums that has ever been made available, IMO. It must remain profitable to it to exist. Most of us feel the same way. Ads, discreetly done, and small, have never bothered me personally, although they do some others.

When wireless for the masses is available, SI has the power to completely change our lives. For instance....can you see why it would be necessary to make a phone call, even from a cell, when you could just post a quick message and the person could access it at their convenience.

In the meantime, it is valuable to most of us, or we wouldn't waste our time here.

Bosco, what you are seeing are people mourning the death of Go2net and its dream.....I realize it is hard for you to understand not owning Go2net like many of us from long ago but for me and the others Go2net is family. I would venture to say most of the folks that are now badmouthing Naveen Jain and Infospace, that you think may be shorts, still own the stock...yes thats right still own the stock.....we collectively watched Russ Horowitz and his team create a company with little help that quietly learned how to make a profit and prosper......so we prospered too and now that would seem to all be over.......and it is easy to place the blame for our lost dream on Naveen Jain..... he has proven an easy target.......it is ironic that Naveen Jain who preaches Infospace as family should be so attached here by family .

I would think the Go2net family would think it be difficult to work for Naveen Jain.....especially after hearing "second hand" about the back room battles that were ever so close to keeping the dream alive........ many are leaving and many more will......this in part may explain Naveen Jain's wish to sell off Go2net products........

I being a kid of the 60's think people power could still have much to say in the final outcome of this drama....the near anarchy of the campuses of the spring of 1970 following Kent State were put to rest by cancelling school......don't let that happen here......speak up...and act now.......sitting around mourning is not the answer......demand Horowitz and his team return and be willing to compromise........

Message to Go2Net Commando Forces: Plan LSOS-AA in effect...time to come out of hiding at your Pier positions
