In my opinion if it's a legal procedure and other legal procedures are provided to poor women (such as prenatal care and delivery), it's outrageous to deny to a poor woman the medical choice her middle class pregnant sister is given.

To many poor women, it means she has no choice. None. An unwanted baby will grow in her body.

If she is poor and crack-addicted, or an alcoholic, or otherwise incapacitated for responsible motherhood, this is particularly unfortunate.

For the baby, and for society.

Let the winners get abortions, force the losers to reproduce?

Something is wrong with this picture.
