Mike, The key thing that put me over the top as a horse player was becoming more value oriented as opposed to selection oriented. Most people try to pick the winner. I'm more or less looking for beatable favorites and horses that are better than they look. If I have it down to a couple of contenders and it's not clear who is best in terms of being the most probable winner, the odds sometimes make the decision very clear in terms of betting. Wayne
