Our government subsidizes meat production. Hindus cannot eat cattle for religious reasons- it is a horrible sacrilege to kill cattle- should they be taxed so the government can do something so abhorrent to them? Should vegetarians who detest the slaughter of animals be taxed?

I would just say stop the subisides rather then give them a tax break. Give everyone a tax break with all the money saved from stopping almost every government subsidy.

I forgot about the Hindus, but I've mentioned the veges a few times.

Let's everybody get rebates.

Nah, it wouldn't work. The anti-choicers don't want not only their, but my and your and anybody's taxes to pay for this legal operation.

Of course I suppose Hindus would prefer I not eat beef.
