*"Batten down the hatches."* Betty, The research article you posted costs $5 grand. For the record, are you bullish or pessimistic about UMC's prospects? I expect that SanDisk will liquidate shares, especially if the Taiwan market rallies. FlashVision will be in production this year and Eli hinted that their orders to UMC might get dialed down. As a defensive measure SNDK needs to think about their current dependence on Taiwanese fabs, geopolitical risks of that region, and possibly securing some ca$h from the original investment in UMC. Aus
