Prolifers have enough sense to know the murder of one baby is more heinous than the murder of another? It will take no great perceptiveness to understand why a mother’s role in the murder of her unborn child is not as severe (though it is quite severe) as either the role of the abortionist who murders children for profit, or that of a murderer who murders simply for sadistic thrill. Every reasonable person will understand the difference, and the rest will be by definition, “choicers.” How do you judge the heinousness - by the age of the fetus? By the same means employed currently when the law passes judgement on criminal offenses. The law does not send all people who commit murder to death or to prison for life. (sigh) You use serious language - you talk about human life being precious from the moment of conception on - you say the ending of the life of even a recently fertilized embryo is murder - then you slip away from applying it seriously. I do no such thing. I simply recognize that, while both participated in murders, Hitler and a mother who allowed her child to be aborted are not forced by any logical necessity to receive the same punishments. You refuse to see the plain difference between the two,a difference that incessantly stares you in the face. It is apparent that this same willful ignorance allows you to support the pure barbaric principle generally underlying abortion. Surgical abortions are just the tip of the iceberg and PBA's are just a snowball. The iceberg is the vast number of abortions triggered by things like birth control pills, IUD's, and morning after pills. Yet prolifers talk about the snowball while largely ignoring the iceberg. They do not, and I have shown you repeatedly that they do not. Many pro-lifers know it is illogical to become perpetually engrossed in arguments concerning specific means of murder, and choose instead to focus on the principle that allows those murders to occur. They are far more consistent than “choicers.” There's got to be a reason for this. There is, it is called reason. I assume it's just insincerity. And this is one of your problems. You assume-- instead of employing the facts before you.
