stockcharts.com - closed yesterday above its 50-day for only the second time since Sept, CMF green, long and short term PPO healthy

stockcharts.com[L,A]DACLYYMY[PB50!B200!D20,2][VC60][IUB14!LA12,26,9!LG]
... RSI healthier than it's been in a long time
... ditto OBV
... MACD positive and widening
... Bollinger Bands kind of indecisive, not enough trades to make good data imho

There's the thing with TA and many speckies, they don't trade enough to make the chart reliability [lol] of a Nortel ... also they're so absolutely vulnerable to changes in fundamentals ... nevertheless it's interesting, a person has to do something while finishing off the last beer of the evening.

cpt.v - news out - Message 15337753

Links package for cpt in referring post .... next events of importance are 1. firming of a DAS deal, and 2. a working site being opened to the public ... the latter of arguably greater importance .... i think Mr Market thinks they can't do it, and needs clear proof to change his mind.

Company has three divisions;
1. CIBT - cag-global.com - an established profitable and growing education business in China, three schools in Beijing and now offering courses over the net, partnered with City University of Renton, Wash. and serving an impressive list of multinational clients ... there is a plan afoot to float CIBT in the US using a vehicle called VAC [check the releases], but it is on hold as management focus is currently on developing SEG [see below].

2. Irix - cag-global.com - a design/PR firm 50% owned, recently acquired but has been working with cpt before the acquisition ... also profitable at last report ... three offices now - San Francisco, Vancouver, Hong Kong ... we have no clear picture of the status here until FY00 financials are posted sometime Aprilish [this is also true of CIBT]

3. SEGlobal - cag-global.com - the sexy division imho seglobal.com - a network of brokerage firms, but not a broker, thereby sidestepping the regulatory hassles encountered by brokers attempting to get reps placed overseas ... they've already signed up an impressive list of broker alliances in many countries on several continents, to whom they have opened up access planet-wide using the net ... those two things make up what i call The Brilliance of the Plan - 1. regulatory stuff done already by broker allies, and 2. those allies motivated to make it work in all respects.

Two recent major developments -

1. SEG is floated in the US using a vehicle called Future Technologies, FTUT on the otc-bb - Message 15394492

2. SEG signs a deal on direct access with multiple firms - Message 15489391
... and opens this site - seglobaltrade.com

The latter is a watershed event imho, as it would seem to lend credence to the existence of considerable competence in the company .... firms like Allen Douglas, DAFC, Trade Direct, they do not mess around with allies who can't handle the pressure ... this is my theory anyway, there's lots more to say, but form your own opinion ... cheers
