Looking at CDW, if you check the box for "show only ready to ship items", the SanDisk items all disappear. Similarly at Insight, it is not "in-stock". I did not check the other places. Many shops carry it in their list of items, but usually it is not in-stock or ready to ship.

Here's the CDW link. Remember to check the box marked "Show ready to ship products only" and then click "filter" button.

Checking further, it is obvious that the search CNET performed for you was possibly flawed. I just checked egghead to display their SanDisk products. Here's the link.
Please note there is not one single sandisk product above 64MB. And not any IDE type
