Milo.. I am not going to dwell on this too much, but whether had 2 requests or not isnt the issue here.. the issue is.. he has to post a suspension vote for the entire user base to vote on once he receives the appropriate amount. Thats what the Moderated THreads rules say!! re: no vote needed because he broke the rules.. and only votes needed for maginal infranctions... I dont see that anywhere in the rules statment.. and again.. if Mani used the "obvious rules broken - ban him immediately" clause... he then saysin his rules that if he receives 3 objections to this arbritary act.. the ban gets overturned.. he has just said publicly hes gotten 5 objections.. by his own rules.. he has to overturn the ban, whether he got 12 votes supporting the ban... or 30 .. it doesnt matter,, not in a non -voting case.. if he had gone thru with the voting procedure and done all this properly.. we wouldnt even be discussing it now. If he or the thread isnt going to follow the rules that are set out.. and disregard them.. you might as well get rid of them all and turn it ont what every other moderated thread is - a moderator with unlimited, dictatorial power.
