GV, ML US research starts showing up at 4-5 AM because the stuff that is ready to go by roughly 10pm the night before is released by London and then the second wave comes around 7AM when the NY staff is around. New opinions are often released after the close the day before they debut in a wider distribution. It was probably a low priority to get that out early in the evening because it is earnings season and thus it was probably released just before the evening staff went home.

GV, RE: key analyst buzzword

TheStreet.com likes it too:

"Merrill Likes 'Disruptive' Transmeta, Which Rises"

BTW, I might throw ML a hint on BRCD and see what happens.
