Dear Combjelly:

Re: "In the first case, there is nothing illegal about abortion. In the second, it is getting really close to something that is not only illegal, it is un-Constitutional"

There is nothing illegal about you commiting suicide either but, try to do it and see how many will try to stop you. Not spending money for something optional is never unconstitutional. Matter of fact, that argument is used by Democrats to force localities to use Union Rates in Construction Contracts, to withold federal money from states not passing laws deemed necessary by the federal government, to withhold money from colleges that do not restrict speech, etc.

By stopping that use of that principal, many of the purse strings attached to promote various Democratic causes would also need to be cut. There are many in discrimination, PC, traffic laws, handicapped access, affirmative action, and labor. The Democrats do not like having their methods being used against them. Even though I would not do it and think it is a mistake, I will allow for his ban to be constitutional just like Bush allowed for the really stupid and idiotic act of Clinton's Rich pardon.

Yes, it is really you who is a hypocrite, by your own definition.
