John, AST was taken over by one of the Korean companies, either Samsung or Hyundai I forget which one, in their "glory" cheap money days. Conner was taken over by Seagate. Each of these companies, though, was taken over after their own glory days had past, they had become fallen angels. Well, US Robotics hadn't yet become a fallen angel when they were taken over, but cut a pretty good with COMS before the event. Depends on exactly when she was employed by these other companies--either she knows what it feels like to be in a rapidly growing company, or she knows what it feels like to be in a rapidly deflating company. Or perhaps both. Or she is a Typhoid Mary (sure hope not!). Sam
