Well, with 8000 reco's by the major houses and only 29 sell ratings, what exactly is CNBS supposed to do? When it's practically illegal to be a bear at a major firm, it doesn't leave CNBS much choice unless they choose to put no one on. An interesting aside is that the commercials were short record levels of the Spoo's all year. Aren't the commercials the smart money from these same damn firms that have a super duper buy rating on everything? That in itself should be illegal for the firms to pimp these ANALysts while doing the opposite with their own money. I would say Haines is one of the better ones, along with Insana [if you had to pick one].
