This thread has created a world community of lurkers where my emails are from Australia, Culcutta and Bombay.. One of the e-mails I use to get is a person from Indian State of Gujrat from a city called Ahmedabad. India has been devastated with this earthquake, my country also is little affected. I take this occasion to extend Jagdish, who I heard today is fine my deepest concerns and regrets for this natural disaster.

I pray to God that people who are impacted may be assisted by external aid agencies to recover from a very huge human tragedy, my best of love to everyone and my prayers for souls and families who have been left unsheltered.

May God bless everyone and may India come out of this natural disaster unscathed like it has for thousands of years from era's of aggresion, tyrnanny and natural disaster. Long live my sub-continent and long live the people who are dear to me like my brothers ir-respective of color, race creed or religion..At this point of trajedy and human life loss, I feel as hurt and sad as any Indian could be..my prayers for every live lost and hopefully God gives them strength to recover..
