I am a strong believer that our sub-continent will emerge as a region of greatest economic and politcal strength. We have numbers on our side, internal bickerings sposored by some big powers does not want that eternal peace. We will be a bigger market than China, a better democratic tradition than China ( in my country I am little sorry about this claim, but 1 bn Indians and naother 200 m BD's and 60 m SL's live under democracy and we shall soon). We have to take our rightful place in history and the world, and we have to do it together as a region. I see a future as a great open borders and a land ten times Euro land and population four time the US and Euro land, a population that is affluent a size of Europe. We have bought poverty out of our choice and we will unshackell it soon out of our will to stay in the forefront of the global development that is my dream for my continent. Already, we are a big market but caught in the clash of history, we have been pillaged by the invaders from North, under the name of Islam (I am sorry for that ) they destroyed and pillaged the fabric of India and try to give it an Arab identity. That is not India was, our heroes are muddled, instead of Maharaja Ranjit who saved us from the aggressions of the northern barbarians like Abadali and Ghouri, we made these usurpers our heroes. They looted the temple of Somnath 17 times under garb of Islam that prohibited them to do so, these usurpers unfortunatley became our heros and thati s that we are trying to correct. Soon we will realise that we have same common genetic and we Pakistanis belong to this sub--continent and not an Arab land, I am a big voice on that and will remain so.. Religions has failed to beocme cause of unity they only provide strife and I think secular apporach and mutual acceptance and respect of other beliefs will make us stronger and better, this format will lead us to common survival .. fwiw My mother is 15 generation Indian and my father a 19 generation Indian, and I am a fierce pakistani, but my love for my region and India and Indians has never subsided, if we can live with peace our developements has no bounds.. I have been very disturbed and doing the little I can from my little ngo..Soon after May explosions of Nuclear weapons I had written that we have lived side by side we will confound our critics with our generousity of mutual acceptance, we are greatest of friends..
