something already smelling fishy
This administration takes distortion into the category of lying. This is how they campaigned, so it is really to be expected that this is how they continue.

The cataloguing of the damage to Executive Branch offices "amounted to a single aid who is really just keeping track in his head about things that may have taken place -- not writing incidents down or assessing damage." Say what?

Frankly, all I see here is the unwillingness of the Bush administration to make a federal case out of it........

This whole story is doubly deceptive. Not only did the Bush administration fabricate the vandalism, but Bush came out and said he was going to "forget" about the situation and let it pass so he made himself look like a "uniter" and a good guy!!!! LOL No wonder the Bush staff was chuckling over the situation.

They created a false situation in order to manufacture a false image for Bush !!!!
