Doug H. the chart tells me overbought and the hype tells me sell the news. I'm seriously considering puts on the QQQ's, but haven't decided on strike or month yet.

I'm pleased to agree with you on the QQQ. I felt it was in position to go either way and it looks like it's picked a course. I can't help ya on the puts. Ask 5 o'clockshadow. It broke thru what would have been a nice uptrend line. Retest in the $50's?

My suggestion about QQQ puts is pick a strike at the money or very near the money, and a June expiration month or later.

I agree the short term outlook for QQQ is bearish, but also having puts on the index hedges any long positions you have, and reduces your overall risk therefore.
