I think the FED does 25---here is my rationale-- the mid month thing was against Greenspan--likely under heavy preasure---the FED has one big lever to pull, the rate level, and they already pulled it hard, so if they were to do a full point in one month and the economy does not change immediately, the confidence that the FED has a control process that works will be erroded. Greenspan will move in his traditional small amount---and all the Analysts will speculate that Greenspan must really have a handle on it, because he did what they did not expect.

You don't throw all your apples in one month.

Then again I could be wrong---will find out in 15
