Joan: I don't think that reliance is over-blown. No U.S. consumer exuberance really is a hammer blow to Korea, Taiwan, etc. I look at world-wide shipping data. Cargo flows have been virtually a one-way street this past few years. The rest of the world will indeed survive, but the global life style will take it in the throat. This current scene looks, acts and smells like a "perfect storm" weather map to me. For the sake of our kids, I hope I am wrong,..... or even blessedly "early", but alas, the research suggests the opposite. Haven't seen such acceleration to the downside in my twenty years in the game. Best, Earlie
