2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Procket Networks, Inc. today announced the
shipment of the first beta release of its Internet infrastructure
software. Seven of the world's leading service providers have agreed
to test the software and work closely with Procket's engineers to help
refine product requirements. Metromedia Fiber Network was the first to
begin testing.

"Procket's software is remarkably robust and complete - it exceeded my
expectations," said Andrew Partan, senior network architect with
Metromedia Fiber Network. "In addition, Procket has been incredibly
responsive to my requests. They have a very talented and credible team
of engineers."

Tony Li, Procket Networks co-founder and Director of Software
Engineering stated, "I came to Procket to establish a new level of

interoperability with other vendors' implementations. I look forward
to building on the success of this release over many generations of
Procket products."
