Yup, although the larger Swiss banks have gotten a little gunshy ala the hiding of Holocaust related accounts (meaning they ask for more documentation than they did in the past)...however, MANY smaller Swiss bank allow this practice and it is almost as easy as opening a Citibank account...problem for most Americans is how to get the money to Switzerland in the first place.
