FWIW, NG has strong support around 4.60, IMHO I don't see that being penetrated till we see some real NG inventory builds.

Your comments on NG prices vs stock prices are right on the money. The link isn't there until NG prices go below the forecasts for the year and stay there. That means NG has to go down to the $3 range, and STAY there, before it will impact earnings estimates.

Not sure where this "earnings comps will soon deteriorate" is coming from. Anyone who actually looks at NG prices for the past year or at earnings estimates for 2000 vs 2001 will immediately recognize how ridiculous this claim is. There is only one way these posters can be right. If all the wells suddenly dry up there will be no gas to sell, thus no earnings. It "could" happen and is definitely in the same realm as the comparisons claim is.

Or maybe NG will go to $2 and everyone will suddenly decide to hedge all their production. No, wait, that's what they did last winter.
