Hi Al - as this thread knows, I am not trying to defend anyone, but I don't think Mr Horowitz is particularly different from other net execs. He put a lot of efforts into GNET and he did it at the right time and at the right place, so he got rich. There would be no telling the worthiness of GNET [in mkt value] now if he had not sold to INSP. I don't know what was in H's and J's minds at the time, but it may not be farfetch to believe each wanted to leverage the other's net space to expand the core position. While some execs do sell out in a big way based on their understanding of where the biz is going, it is not uncommon for an exec to sell stk from time to time. It is just that people don't care if the time is good and they instantly become paranoid [sometimes justifibly so] when the stk is not well. Mr Horowitz probably didn't have a huge base salary, so I ve no qualm if he sells some stk to pay his bills or even to diversify his financial positions. If people don't place him too high on the pedestal, he won't have to fall this hard. JMHO

best, Bosco
