KeepItSimple, what goes around comes around. Because of inclusion of investment gains in the results earlier, INTC's growth rate will look negative if they screw up operations in the future. So, they will get their comeuppance. I have no problem with including investment gains.. It just postpones the debacle..

refused to bow to Intel's bullying phone call, Intel called First Call and told them to EXCLUDE this guy's estimates from the "official" expectations.

I wonder if they are going to try the reverse this year.

Call up all the ANALysts and bully them into revising last years numbers so they can show profit growth. It's their only hope.
