There have been some good comments today on the yahoo thread. It looks like the science is solid and the earnings potential astronomical - this may literally be a "smart pill" here....

Apparently they did some bad financing and this stock can be shorted because the big boys can cover with company shares. It should be interesting to see if the news is strong enough to turn the stock.

Some housekeeping (threadkeeping?) comments.

I'd prefer if we limit the TA stuff on this thread. Ok to throw in a sentence or two in a post on a company, but I'd prefer to keep the thread more valuation and fundamentals focused. (Maybe someone should start a biotech TA thread if there isn't one already).

I'd also prefer if we tone down "daytrading" type posts. I've been guilty of this too, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum.

Also, no penny stocks, no non-reporting companies.

Finally, please try to keep the "what do you think of company x" type posts to a minimum. Occasional honest inquiries are reasonable, but please no disguised (or non-disguised) attempts simply to draw attention to a stock.

People who've made constructive posts in the past get more latitude to breach any "rules." In particular posts such as Miljenko's ("I'm out of ALXN") are always welcome, particularly when they are right. <g> (In fact, posts about changes in long-term positions or feelings about a stock are generally welcome).

No criticism implied of any posters - just trying to tighten the focus once more.
