Why is killing the unborn wrong? If it is not because it is a "sin" then why? Killing is not wrong per se. Killing is only wrong when society says it is wrong. I assume you support killing for self defense (you can analogize abortion to that), I assume you support killing in war? You probably support all kinds of killings of already born humans. I would argue those killings are more dangerous to US because we are already born. A clear distinction can be made between the already born and the not yet born. So why is it wrong to kill the unborn- aside from the religious objection- which stems from sin.

Can you show me evidence to support philisophical ideas that are not religious? ...Would my support of libertarian ideas be out of bounds for consideration in the political arena if I can not prove them or even provide evidence that they might be right?

Tim, are you implying that libertarianism is a religious concept?
