Yes, I am certain that the very poor and destitute Reagans were very concerned that they would be the first President and First Lady to be living their golden years in utter poverty...you can't be serious....still looking for that answer on how having a blind trust means you can't purchase a home.

I'm protective of my finances too, but the fact remains that they protected their finances by accepting huge unprecidented gifts from those who profited by the official actions of the Office of the Presidency. That's a lot different than dabbling in options for financial insurance.
